Movmo LLC, a company registered in Georgia under ID 445801605, with registered address 14 Noe Zhordania St., 6004 Batumi, Georgia (“Movmo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), is committed to conducting business in full compliance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Sanctions regulations. This policy describes the measures we take to prevent illicit activity, protect our users, and comply with global standards.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Prevent Movmo’s Services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other unlawful activity
Ensure all counterparties are properly identified, screened, and verified before engaging in trade
Comply with international sanctions, embargoes, and restricted-party regulations
2. Scope
This Policy applies to all users of Movmo’s Services, including:
Buyers, sellers, and traders listing or engaging in commodity transactions
Brokers and intermediaries operating through the platform
Logistics providers, financial institutions, and other partners connected to a transaction
3. Customer Identification (KYC)
Before entering into a business relationship, Movmo requires:
Individuals: full name, date of birth, nationality, government-issued ID, proof of address
Legal entities: company registration details, ownership structure, directors, beneficial owners, and business address
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): for higher-risk parties, Movmo may request additional documentation such as financial statements, trade licenses, or source-of-funds declarations
Users must provide accurate and complete information. Movmo may deny or suspend access if required information is not provided or cannot be verified.
4. Screening & Verification
Movmo conducts screening and verification to ensure counterparties do not pose regulatory or reputational risk. This includes:
Sanctions Screening: against lists published by the United Nations, European Union, United States (OFAC), United Kingdom (OFSI), and other applicable authorities
PEP Screening: identification of politically exposed persons (PEPs), their relatives, and close associates
Adverse Media Checks: to detect links to fraud, corruption, terrorism, or other criminal conduct
Ongoing Monitoring: periodic reviews to ensure counterparties remain compliant throughout the business relationship
5. Prohibited Counterparties
Movmo strictly prohibits dealings with:
Persons or entities subject to international sanctions
Persons or entities engaged in terrorism, money laundering, fraud, corruption, or other criminal activity
Anonymous users, shell banks, or entities that cannot be reasonably identified or verified
Counterparties from jurisdictions where trade is restricted or prohibited by law
Movmo reserves the right to decline, suspend, or terminate any transaction that poses regulatory, legal, or reputational risk.
6. Record-Keeping
Movmo maintains records of KYC information, transaction details, and communications for at least five (5) years or longer as required by applicable law.
7. Reporting Obligations
Movmo may file suspicious activity reports (SARs) or notify competent authorities if we detect unusual or potentially unlawful activity. Users will not be notified if such reports are made.
8. User Responsibilities
By using Movmo’s Services, you agree to:
Provide complete and accurate identification documents
Notify Movmo of any changes in ownership, structure, or regulatory status
Refrain from using Movmo for unlawful purposes or to bypass sanctions
9. Policy Updates
Movmo may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or business practices. Updated versions will be published on our website.
